JOYE JOHNSON - Politely Refusing the Kool-Aid 
This book was a pleasure to read! I bought it at the farmer’s market in Old Town last week, and it was difficult to put down! I really enjoyed reading a book that takes place in current times. I could really relate to the main character, feeling socially awkward, yet longing for the one who will love us for who we are. Even though it’s a light read, I found it compelling, with all the plot twists and turns. This book has depth in that it touches on issues of racial biases that still exist today.
I am looking forward to reading the next installment in the series, because this is a great couple you have created! I can see them having many wonderful adventures together!
